NEW YORK (AP) - Investors will be looking for a rebound on Wall
Street today following yesterday's 283-point drop in the Dow.
The slide was prompted by a steeper-than-expected decline in
existing home sales.
The Dow starts the day at 11,349. The S&P is at 1,252 after a
29-point loss yesterday. And the Nasdaq composite is at 2,280,
having declined nearly 46 points.
Heading into the final session of the week, investors await
today's reports on new home sales, durable goods orders and
consumer sentiment.
