An 86-year old Greenville woman was robbed at her home by a woman with a gun early Friday morning..
The Greenville County Sheriff's Office incident report says the elderly woman heard a knock at her door on 4th Avenue in the Poe Mill community just before 2:00am.
The victim said the person on the other side claimed to be her son and needed to get inside the house. When the woman opened the door the intruder pushed her way into the home and pointed a handgun at the victim's chest.
The robber demanded to know where there was money in the house. The victim said it was in her purse in her bedroom. The intruder grabbed the purse and left through the front door.The victim gave investigators a limited description of the robber except that she was wearing all black clothing.
